Things To Do In Nusa Lembongan

If you are looking for a tropical paradise with friendly locals, crystal-clear water and lots of

activities, Nusa Lembongan is the place for you. Oceanfront bars with infinity pools line

the beaches serving any cocktail you can think of.  Just down the beach, you can swim with

giant manta rays and tropical fish or go surf some of the world-class waves on offer.

Swim With Giant Manta Rays

You are not guaranteed to see the manta rays on the tour, but if you do see the

giant majestic it will be something you remember for the rest of your life. They are

gracefully dancing below the surface of the water while feeding on microorganisms.

Crystal Bay – Nusa Penida

A short boat ride from Nusa Lembongan takes you to Crystal Bay, a tropical cove on the

island of Nusa Penida.  Below the surface schools of tropical fish spend there days floating

around in the changing tides.

The Mangroves

Just like Crystal Bay, Mangrove Point has many schools of tropical fish, but here they live

around the live reef, where the diverse array of fish thrives. From starfish to needlefish,

everywhere you look you may see something you have never seen before above

the breathtaking coral reef.

Dream Point - Ceningan Island

If you're looking for a fun adventure. Hop on a scooter and drive across the yellow bridge to

the neighbouring island. There you will find a crystal clear bay, a secret point break for

experienced surfers and a restaurant that has a platform to jump off the cliff. This was one

of my favourite places on the island.

Devils Tears

A natural wonder where a beautiful mist is created when the waves smash into the cliff.

Only a five-minute walk from dream beach. This is a great place to watch the sunset, but

beware there are no guardrails so stay safe.

Surfing

There are many different waves on the island from beginner to advanced. On small days

mellow long rides are available and on big days heaving barrels are provided for only the

most experienced surfers. Certain spots have strong rips so make sure you know a little

about the spots before you go out. For any beginners, I highly recommend getting a guide

because it is an easy place to get into trouble. The strong tides and currents can take the

inexperienced into the middle of the ocean.

How To Get To Nusa Lembongan

You can book a boat in Bali that will take you straight to Nusa Lembongan.

The slow boat- If you are on a budget there are buses available in Kuta-Bali for 35000Rp

that can take you to the dock. At the dock expect to pay between 65000 – 10000Rp to get

the boat to the island. The trip generally takes between one and two hours.

The Fast Boat- Cost’s between 250,000Rp and 300,000Rp and will get you there in about

half an hour. If you are staying at a hotel and book at the front desk, they can organize

transportation to the boat.
